Downtown Value

Joe Minicozzi, Executive Director of the Asheville Downtown Association, presented the "Economic Value of Asheville's Downtown" at the Oct 11, 2010 CAN meeting.  This intriguing presentation compares Asheville to other downtowns across the state and provides a picture of downtown's value in terms of sales and property taxes, how that income is redistributed, reinvested, and managed.
